FAQs & Topics
How do I know if PHP is right for me?
PHP is a full day program for commonly for individuals stepping down from higher levels of care, or otherwise meeting medical necessity for more support and structure. A medical assessment can be complete by our staff to determine the best level of care you at this time.
Does my insurance cover PHP?
Yes, most large insurance carriers should be able to cover PHP services for ED treatment. It is important to contact your carrier with any questions, or learn about your coverage through the Verification of Benefits (VOB) process.
Can I work and attend PHP at the same time?
Typically, no. PHP requires a ‘full time’ commitment and it’s 7 hours per day of treatment. If there are any questions around PHP flexibility, please feel free to contact us.
What happens after PHP?
Upon successful completion of PHP, clients are usually recommended to the IOP level of care. This acts as a treatment ‘titration’, slowly preparing clients for full discharge.
